Setters/Trainee Setters

Condale Plastics is the largest producer of bespoke plastic extrusions in the South East of England with a successful track record of business growth for over 40 years. We supply a wide range of extruded profiles and tubes to a broad selection of customers in a variety of industries

We are looking to recruit a number of setters/trainee setters to work in our extrusion factory on both our day shift and night shift. Depending on their previous experience successful candidates will be either be already trained in extrusion setting or will be trained on-site to become part of our machine setting and operating team. Our machine setters are responsible for preparing our extrusion machines to be ready for operation, setting the tooling, establishing the correct processing conditions and for running good product thereafter. All setters check and manage the quality of the products that they produce.

Ideal candidates will be capable of working with limited supervision. The job will very much suit someone that has worked in a manufacturing environment previously and is used to relatively physical work. Full training will be provided.

We are looking for staff to work on both our day shift Monday to Friday and our night shift Monday to Thursday.
