Condale Plastics proud sponsors of local football club!
We are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring local football team East Grinstead Meads FC for the 2022/23 season! East Grinstead Meads FC plays in the Horsham District league, in the under-13 A-league. It is brilliant to see the team wearing their new tracksuits with Condale Plastics’ logo on the back.
The team has been running for over seven years now, with the majority of the team joining in their first season and have stayed a part of the team ever since. The current squad of 16 players trains on Tuesday evenings and plays on Saturday mornings.
Over the years, East Grinstead Meads FC has had their fair share of success! The team has played in numerous tournaments over the years and have won three over the past 7 years. They got within touching distance of a 4th tournament win last season, but sadly lost on penalties. A cruel way to go out but still something to be proud of.
Last season saw East Grinstead Meads FC win the B league, meaning they got promoted to the A-league, a brilliant achievement from the whole team. The new division is proving a challenge, but the team are rising to it. They also held a very impressive record of not losing a single league game for over two seasons! Arsenal’s Invincibles…top that!
East Grinstead Meads FC have around 25 teams, ranging from under-6 level all the way to under-16 level, with both boys and girls teams featuring in the teams. We are very proud that East Grinstead has such an age range of teams for both boys and girls to take part in.
All coaches at East Grinstead Meads FC are FA level 1 qualified and have completed both emergency aid and child safeguarding courses. Ensuring the health and safety of all the players is the top priority!
